My Major & Career Goals

In high school, I wasn't really sure where I wanted to attend college, but I always knew I wanted to go for an exercise science degree. I was trying to decide if I wanted to stay or leave home, where I wanted my environment to be, and all these decisions led me to IU Indianapolis. I am now in the School of Health and Human Sciences here, with hopes to go to PT school after my undergrad. Once I finish that, I hope to be a physical therapist to rehab athletes from injuries or preventing injuries. I have always specifically wanted to work on athletes because of my own experience as an athlete. As an athlete I struggled with knee issues and had to do lots of physical therapy and through all that it inspired me to want to help athletes who struggled like me.
